After retiring from the Army, Dee continued to serve her country as a federal government professional in cybersecurity. Over her 15-year civilian career, she gained invaluable insights into leadership, problem-solving, and resilience. In December 2022, Dee retired from government service, marking the beginning of a new chapter where she could focus fully on empowering others through her books, motivational speaking, and interactive platforms.
Dee’s passion for inspiring young people began during her years as an active parent, volunteering in her daughters’ classrooms and building strong relationships with educators and students. Witnessing the struggles of many young people, Dee felt called to make a difference. With a steadfast belief that youth are the future, she committed herself to providing encouragement, guidance, and direction to help them navigate challenges and achieve their full potential.
